Technical ceramics: what are they?
Technical ceramics owe their unique properties to the fact that they are made from high-quality synthetic materials. These are generally either extremely rare or not found in nature at all and are difficult to obtain or synthesize. The natural raw materials that are used in the manufacture of technical ceramics must first be refined to a precisely defined level of quality in terms of purity, particle size distribution and granular form.
Unique material properties
By using extremely pure materials in precisely defined compositions, we are able to create materials with precisely defined properties. We assess our customers' needs and develop the materials to suit their applications: extremely hard, durable, rigid, chemically stable, unbreakable or thermal shock-resistant. And of course, by varying our formulas we can give a technical ceramic product a unique combination of properties.
